COLCA CONVENTIONAL TOUR
This two day excursion lets you enjoy a beautiful
natural scenery all the way. Leaving at 8 am, you will hav your first
stop in Aguada Blanca Natural Park. Vicunas, Alpacas, flamingos
and birds. Unforgettable to see "the water planting area" where water
resources for Arequipa are borned.
After several stops to enjoy this unique andean
eco system and crossing the highest point of the route (+13000 ft or
4800 msnm), you will get to Chivay, the main city in the Valley.
After lunch, a visit to La Calera hotspring pools finishes our afternoon. Dinner will be served in a restaurant with local dances show.
Second day starts early with breakfast. Back on the road at 6 am for a full day excursion by the left shore of the valley crossing several towns to get to Cruz del Condor. At that poing we will stop to enjoy the unique spectacle of Andean Condors flying at the throath of the deepest canyon of the world, Colca.
2 hours and back to Chivay. Stops on strategic
spots will give us opportuinites to take great shots.
Lunch and then we start our way to Arequipa, where we will arrive at 5pm the most.

An exhilarating adventure that challenges your resistance, and puts you in contact with the wonders of nature and the ancient tribe of Collaguas. Walk through the Andean Condor territory and enjoy the hot spring waters in this remarkable natural setting

Group leaves Arequipa, gets to Chivay, makes a
small stop at Cruz del Condor and then continues to Cabanaconde.
A 6hours bus trip.
After breakfast you start your way down to th Canyon. About 4 -6 hours later you will be down and close from the camp where we sleep.
2 day tour will do a small walking and start its way up to Cabananconde where they take the bus and get to Arequipa at about 5 pm.
3 day tour will trek along the right side of the canyon, visiting the picturesque villages of Coshnirgua and Malata, before descending to the lowest point of the canyon, the Oasis. A relaxing afternoon by the pool and rest in the bamboo bungalows finishes the day.
On the 3rd day, early morning you walk up the canyon to Cabanaconde and start your way back to Arequipa.
Both tours are conducted by trainned and experienced guides. Low difficulty but you need to be fit.

COLCA ONE DAY TOUR
This tour covers all the CONVENTIONAL TOUR attractions, with less walking activity. Cruz del Condor and Hotspring Waters.
You live early from the hotel (2 to 4 am in the mornig), bus will pick you from Casa de Avila. Chivay will be your breakfast stop 3 hours later.
Cruz del Condor and the Condorīs spectacle will
be at 8 am. After that you will get back to Chivay, take lunch and
enjoy Hotsprig pools. And back to Arequipa arriving here at 5 pm. A
nice shower, if needed ask for a massage and late afternoon you are
ready to have a nice meal in the great restaurants this city offers.
Standard Tour is conducted with small groups ( 12 - 15 passengers). Includes accommodation, guidance, transportation and boxlunch.

FAQ.
Can I leave my luggage while in the Tour? Yes,
but be aware there is a special "Transfer" service if you need showers
and space to change clothe. (40 soles Transfer room 1 to 3 persons)
Can I book a bus from Chivay to Puno or Cusco?
Yes, but service is expensive: $45 to Puno instead of $15 in a regular
service starting in Arequipa.
Can I find less expensive tours? There is always somebody less expensive. But dnoīt blame their services after booking with them.
